Heidelberg Castle Illuminations

On Saturday evening, September 3rd, the Heidelberger Castle will slowly bathe in a mysterious red firelight, as if the castle ruins were on fire once again in their long history. When the glowing castle slowly dies down, the magnificent fireworks will shine over the river Neckar.

We invite you to admire the Castle Illuminations from the banks of the Neckar or the Philosophers’ Walk.
